About

I am a full-stack developer based in Groningen, focused on the back-end, with a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of the Aegean. I like the part of an application most people never see: designing the data model, writing the API, handling authentication, and keeping it all reliable as it grows.

Most of my work is in JavaScript and TypeScript: Node.js and Express on the server, SQL and PostgreSQL for the data, and React or server-rendered EJS for the applications on top. I also program in Java, Python, C, C++ and PHP. I care about readable code that the next developer can understand and change safely.

I am currently doing an MSc in Business Administration at the University of Groningen, so I can connect the technical side of a product with the business decisions behind it.

  1. Full Stack Engineer

    OLIVIE

    Contributed to the development of the back-end and the front-end of an e-commerce website using Node.js, Express.js and EJS.

    Assisted in implementing 8 RESTful API endpoints supporting CRUD operations for products and categories.

    Developed dynamic EJS templates for product listings.

    Designed and implemented a PostgreSQL relational database with 4 tables, modelling products, categories and their relationships.

    Implemented a role-protected admin dashboard using Passport.js, enabling authorised administrators to create, edit and remove products and content.

Projects

  • Full-Stack Web Application

    Personal project

    Built a full-stack web application with Node.js (Express) and PostgreSQL: a server-rendered EJS homepage, with React applications served as static builds.

    Designed a feedback system where both signed-in and anonymous users can leave comments, backed by RESTful CRUD endpoints.

    Built a protected admin dashboard (Passport.js) to view, edit and delete feedback.

    Implemented sign-up and login with bcrypt password hashing and role-based access control, so only admins reach sensitive pages.
